I currently work full time for Sumner County Schools at HB Williams Elementary. I serve students in our developmental preschool, our comprehensive development classroom and other students with a variety of speech and language disorders. Although I work full time at HB, I set aside time each week to provide services to private clients. My private caseload is minimal during the school year but opens up more in the summer months. If I am not able to provide services when you contact me, I will work with you to find other available services in our area.

If your child is under 3 years old and you have concerns about speech and language development, you can contact the Tennessee Early Intervention System to set up an evaluation. You can do this by completing an online referral form or calling (800) 852-7157. If your child is 3 years old, you can contact your local school district to set up an evaluation to see if your child qualifies for services. For Sumner County Schools, you can call the Preschool Assessment Team at (800) 762-0519 or visit this link. You can refer your child for an evaluation, at no cost to you, through both organizations. If your child qualifies, services will also be provided at no cost to you. If you need help in making a referral to TEIS or your local school district, please let me know.
