At this time, I have taken on a new role and my time for my private practice is very limited. Because there aren't many private therapy settings available in my area, I've decided to keep this page up and running so that I can be a resource to families. I may not have time to see your child for private therapy, but I'm more than happy to provide free consultations over the phone to answer any questions you might have and direct you to the right path for your child. I am available for screenings and evaluations.

If your child is under 3 years old and you have concerns about speech and language development, you can contact the Tennessee Early Intervention System to set up an evaluation. You can do this by completing an online referral form or calling (800) 852-7157. If your child is 3 years old, you can contact your local school district to set up an evaluation to see if your child qualifies for services. For Sumner County Schools, you can call the Preschool Assessment Team at (800) 762-0519 or visit this link. You can refer your child for an evaluation, at no cost to you, through both organizations. If your child qualifies, services will also be provided at no cost to you. If you need help in making a referral to TEIS or your local school district, please let me know.
